Due to the very nature, setting and emphasis on education the Classical Guitar Retreat has a limited number of spaces.
The level of contact with the teachers and the equal opportunities available to every participant makes this course one of the most valuable and rewarding musical experiences a keen and committed Classical Guitar student can have.

All concert tickets are included in the course fee and ensure preferential seating for course participants.
Full board entitles students to a full breakfast, lunch and dinner each day of their stay, the food is of a high standard and served in the college refrectory. There is a snack bar during tea / coffee breaks.
In addition to the accomodation at the cathedral the CGR also uses excellent Bed & Breakfast Guesthouses and Holiday Flats on the Island, so as to accomodate the high demand for places on the course. This alternative accomodation is of excellent standard and is situated in Millport a short walk from the Cathedral, further information is available on request via email.

The Isle of Cumbrae is easily reached from Largs by making a short 10-minute ferry trip.
There are excellent transport connections to Largs from Glasgow and its environs. Largs is around an hour by road, rail, car or bus from Glasgow city centre, Glasgow International and Glasgow Prestwick airports.
